Hindu Spirituality Conference in Edinburgh/UK

The conference was led by distinguished Hindu spiritual leaders from the around the globe including H.H. Homage to the International Day of Non-Violence

To mark the auspicious occasion of the first International Day of Non-Violence as declared by the United Nations, the Sri Swami Madhavananda World Peace Council under the patronage of its founder His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda honoured the Satyagraha legacy of Mahatma Gandhi by holding a Gandhi Jayanti in Austria's capital Vienna festival hall at Karl-Borromaus-Plaz.

International day of Peace: Planting of a World Peace Tree in Austria

On September 21, 2007, the United Nations International Day of Peace, His Holiness Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandaji planted a World Peace Tree and inaugurated a Peace Memorial Stone in a beautiful park in Vienna, Austria. Prayers for world peace were extended by the religious representatives and by the numerous participants from various countries of Europe and from Australia.

Swamiji's message for the Gurupurnima day

Gurupurnima is the festival of spirituality, a celebration of the principle of a Master, a Guru. Gu means darkness and Ru means light and Guru is the one who leads us from darkness to light. Gurupurnima is also a remembrance of the day when the rays of the Sun touched the Earth for the very first time. It is the day of wisdom, the day of the Light.

Abundant monsoon fills the Jadan Talab

Monsoon rains that started on July 4 almost completely filled the Rainwater Harvesting Talab in Jadan. Water is everywhere; it covered also all fields and roads. Local people say that last monsoon of such abundance was almost ten years ago.

Yoga in Daily Life - Day of Meditation for World Peace

In his evening lecture in Brisbane/Australia, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda proclaimed May 17 as a "Day of Meditation for World Peace". His Holiness Swamiji said that the whole day shall be dedicated to World Peace, and the positive and divine vibration of our joint mantra and meditation practice for World Peace shall go around the globe from midnight to midnight.
